Product Description
Molybdenum disilicate (MoSi2) is a Dalton-type intermetallic compound. The atoms in its crystal structure show the coexistence of metal bond and covalent bond, and has excellent characteristics of high temperature.
- Used in the fields of high temperature oxidation resistant coating materials, electric heating elements, integrated electrode, thin film structure materials, composites, reinforcers, wear-resistant materials, structural ceramics, connection materials and so on,
- Used in energy chemical industry: electric heating elements atomic reactor device of high temperature heat exchanger gas burner high temperature thermocouple and protection tube melting utensils crucible (used for smelting sodium lithium lead bismuth tin and other metals);
- Used in microelectronics industry :MoSi2 and some other refractory metal silicides Ti5Si3, WSi2, TaSi2 are important candidates for large-scale integrated circuit gate and interconnect wire films.
- Used in aerospace industry: widely studied and applied as high temperature oxidation resistant coating materials, especially as turbine engine components, such as blade impeller burner tail nozzle and sealing device materials;
- Used in automotive industry: automotive turbocharger rotor valve valve body spark plug and engine parts.
